Rusty Ford. Peter usually does not touch rust, because the time scale makes good rust removal next to impossible. But when friend Tom came and asked if anything could be done to help reduce the rust on his wifes car Peter thought he would have a go.
As you can see, from the outside there is little to see, but after a little work with his trusty Dremel the true extent of the damage can be seen. Once cut out a rust converter was used to slow its return followed by a good primer. Water based paint was then sprayed on top followed by a couple of coats of lacquer.
The result looks good but does not carry the usual 2 year warrenty, but Peter does not expect it to show for quite some time. Anything more than this level of rust will not be tackled, but Peter is always happy to have a chat.
